When you’re looking for an escape from your day-to-day hustle in central Alberta, Aspen Beach Provincial Park is the place to go. Centrally located a short distance from Lacombe, Red Deer, and Sylvan Lake, Aspen Beach Provincial Park offers year-round recreation on the south shores of Gull Lake.
During the summer, enjoy one of Alberta’s best lakes at Ebeling Day Use, where you will find a large sandy beach, playground, boat launch, and concession. Spend a few nights in Brewer’s or Lakeview campground and take advantage of a separate boat launch, laundry facilities, and sites that suit whatever camping unit you have.
In the winter months, participate in your favourite winter activities, with ice fishing on Gull Lake and over 5km of trails, groomed and packed for snowshoeing or cross-country skiing. You can also access a maintained skating rink with firepits, picnic tables, and benches, with access to the vault toilet at Ebeling Day Use. While the rink is not lit, it is a nice option on a clear, moonlit night and a great getaway during the day.
